R9 Victories over Cities

05/09/10

Kuttabul produced a polished performance against a committed Cities outfit at Quarry Hill. The Camelboks ran in 9 tries in their 53-0 victory and were able to entertain their supporters with some long range breaks. Cities were competitive at the set pieces and rucks, but struggled to contain the Camelboks running game. The match marked the return from injury of Kuttabul’s fly-half, Usaia Tawakevou. The dynamic Fijian scored a try and had a hand in several others as the Camelboks look to play themselves back into their early season form.

Kuttabul also had a good victory in 2nd Grade will a bonus point win against Cities. The 24-7 win keeps them in the top two on the ladder and gives the team a good launch pad into the finals.
